Frequently asked questions

Do I need an account to use the app?

No. You can browse places, use the map, and filter by category without signing in. An account (Sign in with Google or Apple) is only needed to save favorites and sync your profile across devices.

How do I delete my account and data?

Email us at helpfoody@gmail.com from the address linked to your account, and we will delete your account and all associated data within 30 days. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Nearby places or the map don't show my surroundings

Make sure the app has location access: open iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Foody Guide and choose "While Using the App". The home-screen widget also needs location access to show the closest places.

A venue's info is outdated or wrong

Venue details can change without notice. If you spot an outdated menu, phone number, or a closed venue, please tell us at helpfoody@gmail.com — we'll fix it quickly.

Can I suggest a place to add?

Yes, please do! Send the name and a link (website or social media) to helpfoody@gmail.com. We review every suggestion.

Sign-in with Google or Apple fails

Check your internet connection and try again. If it still fails, try restarting the app, and make sure you're signed in to your Google or Apple account on the device. Still stuck? Email us — include your iOS version and what you see on screen.
